White Sand Beaches that stretch for miles with inviting clear and shallow waters make Clearwater & St. Petersburg  Beaches the ideal place for a get-away.

Description

White sandy beaches combined with inviting clear and shallow waters make Clearwater Beach the ideal place for a beach vacation.  And there is plenty to do along the palm-lined beach walk promenade in Clearwater Beach. For sure, you can be as active as you like, or you can sit back in your beach chair under a cabana if that is more your style. Activities are endless: dolphin spotting tours, fishing charters, parasailing, paddle-boarding, sunset sailing tours, and so much more.  Restaurants are plentiful and range from the super casual to more formal depending on your likings.

Just down the road you are close to historic St. Petersburg Beach with the pink Moorish-style hotel, the Don Cesar, which was built in 1928 and its lovely sugar sand beaches.  And much like Clearwater, the beaches are spectacular with plenty of activities to choose from.  Just across the Pinellas Bayway is the  charming downtown area of St. Petersburg.  Downtown St. Petersburg has much to offer with its waterfront parks.  These parks  host the Dali Museum; the Museum of Fine Arts and the Mahaffey Theater.  The Mahaffey Theater is the home of the Florida Orchestra.

Just over the Corey Causeway from St. Petersburg Beach is the eclectic town of Gulfport,  Gulfport is home to many restaurants, shops, and art galleries. It is a great place to spend an afternoon or have a grouper sandwich for lunch.  Also, in the evening, one can enjoy local entertainment after watching the beautiful sunset over Boca Ciega Bay.

Both locations are truly perfect for a family vacation, a couple’s get-away, or a girls’ weekend. Warm tropical breezes, beautiful sunsets, pristine white beaches, and plenty of activities to choose from await you in Clearwater and St. Petersburg Beaches.   R-tinerary has been to both these places and we have a great itinerary planned for you!

This is was our 2nd trip to Clearwater. This time it was just myself and my 2 daughters who are 23 and 19 and we just rtinerary plans. It was perfect for a quick winter getaway with lots of sunshine, beach time and quiet time. The beach wasn’t too busy but was bustling. If you like a populated beach with people, volleyball, nightlife, etc, this is a great place to visit. Will use another rtinerary plans in the future.

Love Clearwater beach! Love all the information included in these plans. Made my planning so much easier.
Beautiful sand, water is clear and clean! Family Friendly!

  3. Tracey A

Fantastic beach for kids, relaxing and sun bathing. There are lifeguard stands up and down the beach, so visitors are safe and orderly.
Beach has powdery white sand and looks to the west for stunning sunsets.
This itinerary helped us navigate the area! Well worth it!

Lovey beach, great week long plans! So much better than South Florida, clear water, white sand, no alcohol allowed on the beach finally, makes it much safer and quieter.

  5. Dave Sidler

Great beach! I see it always highly rated, some times the best. It is great. Sand, water, all great. And beautiful sunsets as well. We had a great week. Itinerary was the best.

Rained the entire weekend. Really has nothing to do with the plans..just Florida. Plans did provide us with things to do.

  8. Bob Warren

Great beaches. Great recommendations for activities and restaurants. We had more than enough to do. Just didn’t like the crowds. Guess it is to be expected since we visited in late February.

  9. Steven

Way too many people here for us. The beaches are lovely, but the traffic is horrible.
