Whether it’s charming countrysides, quaint English villages, or the hustle and bustle of European cities, this western Europe itinerary is for you. This two-week vacation guide takes you from the Cotswolds in the countryside of England to the very enchanting city of Paris and then to the bustling city of London.

Begin this vacation traveling through one of the most beautiful areas in the south-central region of England, the ancient city of Bath.  Limestone walls and buildings, open skies, rolling grasslands, beech woods and captivating villages, Bath was founded in the 1st century AD by the Romans. The Romans used the natural hot springs as a thermal spa.  As a result, these are among the most famous and important Roman remains north of the Alps.  Bath is an elegant spa city, famous for literature and art.  Also, visit the monumental assembly of the Royal Crescent.  This is a row of 30 terraced houses built in a sweeping crescent, one of the greatest examples of Georgian architecture found in the United Kingdom.  In addition, have lunch and a pint in a very old and traditional English Pub.  This ancient and historically significant city has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Also, while in the Cotswolds, visit one of England’s largest homes, Blenheim Palace.  Blenheim Palace is a monumental English country house located in Oxfordshire.  This was the primary residence of the Duke of Marlborough and the birthplace and ancestral home of Sir Winston Churchill.  The palace covers seven acres and sits in the center of a large English landscaped garden.  Additionally, the palace has quite a history and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Next, board the Eurostar at London’s beautiful and historic St. Pancras Station for a few days in Paris.  Arrive in Paris in two and a half hours traveling at speeds of 186 mph.  While in one of the world’s most historic and romantic cities, stroll the banks of the Seine and explore famous museums (The Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, Musée Rodin and many more).  Ride the elevator to the top of the Eiffel Tower for an incredible view.  Then, visit the famed Notre-Dame Cathedral and stroll along the Champs-Élysées. Indulge in French cuisine, wines, and culture.  We provide you with information on a small boutique hotel near the Place de la Bastille.  This is truly a City of Light and is a UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Lastly, travel back through the Chunnel to the capital of England and the United Kingdom, the vibrant city of London.  We include information on a lovely flat in the very chic area of Holland Park.  Holland Park is known for its large Victorian townhouses, high-class shops, and restaurants.  Immerse yourself in this fantastic area of London without staying in the middle of tourist areas.  Hop on the “tube” to visit London’s historical and famous sites including Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, Big Ben, Kensington Palace, and Westminster Abbey.  Enjoy high tea at Harrods and visit one of the largest and oldest food markets.  Spend time in the museums of London and enjoy local foods including fish and chips, meat pies, and of course a pint of British ale.  Take a cruise on the Thames River to Greenwich.  Also, visit the Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark,  and the Royal Observatory.

R-tinerary has researched and experienced all this two-week trip has to offer.  As a result, we can help you make this trip happen!  We include places to stay, restaurants, and information on excursions and activities.  Let our trip, work for you.
