This R-tinerary trip begins in the city of Seattle, Washington on the Puget Sound in the Pacific Northwest. And concludes in Vancouver, a coastal seaport surrounded by mountains, in Canada’s British Columbia. During this 9-day trip, R-tinerary also spent time on Bainbridge Island, Olympic National Park, La Push, and Victoria.
This fabulous, multi-day vacation starts with exploring the favorites of Seattle while appreciating the spectacular views of the Cascade Mountains. Dine in restaurants overlooking Elliott Bay and stare with amazement at the works of Dale Chihuly. Then bike from Seattle to the charming and quaint Bainbridge Island via ferry. Watch a Boeing 787 Dreamliner being assembled. And then hike Hurricane Hill to an unbelievable 360-degree vista of Puget Sound, Olympic Range, and Vancouver Island.
Next, stroll the world’s longest naturally occurring sand-spit to a remote lighthouse built in 1857 and watch the sunset over sea stacks on the rugged Olympic Coast. Walk through a temperate rainforest to a remote beach and inhale the fragrances at Butchart Gardens.
In addition, bike along Stanley Park, Granville Island, and False Creek in Vancouver. And see the Gastown steam clock (one of only a few left in the world). Hike Quarry Rock to a scenic view of the Indian Arm and then kayak Deep Cove and eat the best donuts ever!
