Yellowstone is the first national park in the United States. Yellowstone is home to one of the largest supervolcanoes in the world. Geysers, mudpots, fumaroles and hot springs are all on display in this 3,500 square mile park. Along with wildlife, waterfalls, lakes, rivers, canyons, mountain ranges, and many historical places. Yellowstone is truly an extraordinary place everyone should visit.
R-tinerary has been to Yellowstone National Park and we want to help you navigate this amazing area of the United States.
On this trip, we lay out the places to view wildlife, the best lookouts, trails to hike and rivers to fish. Along with places to stay and unique locations to dine. We include tours and some not too far out of the way places to traverse to see the spectacular country.
R-tinerary was accompanied by our elementary and middle school aged children on this vacation. This trip is great for families and will work wonderfully for friends or couples. Because Yellowstone has so much to offer, it is a great place for all types of sightseers, from the active adventurer to the drive-by traveler.
Along with visiting Yellowstone, R-tinerary fly-fished the Upper Madison River near Bozeman and traversed caverns while spying stalagmites and stalactites. We panned for gold in an old mining and ghost town and rode the gondola in Big Sky. We viewed Everything Else is Just a Movie in West Yellowstone and rode horses in Gardiner. Not only did we white water raft down the Yellowstone River, but we also soaked in boiling springs. In addition, we visited the ‘Smithsonian of the West’, cheered the cowboys at the rodeo in Cody and watched the shootout in Jackson Hole.
Besides our planned and tested itinerary, we provide you with other recommendations of things to do, places to stay and alternative dining options.
We have done the work, so you can have the fun!
